At UPPAREL, we’re redefining the future of waste by leading Australia’s most secure textile recycling movement. Our mission is simple: to close the loop on textile waste with complete transparency and traceability, every thread accounted for, every impact measured.
Collect
Conscious individuals and businesses send us their unwanted textiles through our online clothing collection and clothing donation bins. Keeping these valuable textiles out of landfill.
Sort
Once the textiles arrive every item is meticulously sorted and graded to identify a suitable recovery channel such as reuse, repurpose, or recycle.
Reuse
Many of the textiles we receive are still fit for wear. We offer this clothing to any charities, social enterprises and non-for-profits. They can come, take what they need and go make an impact with it.
Recycle
Where textiles are not fit for wear, we begin our recycling process. The most common outcome is to turn textiles into our revolutionary material, UPtex. Which can be used for packaging, signage, homewares, and more!
